The summer competition break is anything but a downtime for the Smarame ArtSwim team. This period gives us the opportunity to turn the experiences and feedback gathered during the season into meaningful improvements while preparing the platform for the challenges of the next competition year.

Nearly two years ago, we embarked on an ambitious IT challenge: building a synchronized swimming scoring system capable of supporting both national and international competitions.

For the past year and a half, competitions organized by the Hungarian Synchronized Swimming Federation have been running on our platform. The recently completed Hungarian Open 2026 marked a major milestone. For the first time, our system managed the entire competition process end-to-end — from registration and coach card submission to the fully automated calculation and evaluation of judges’ scores — providing comprehensive support for every stage of the event.

In sports, traditions hold a special place — they connect the past with the future and bring communities together. This year, the Sirénia Sports Club once again hosted its now-traditional synchronized swimming competition, an event that has become a staple in the Hungarian aquatic sports calendar.

The 34rd National Championship of the Hungarian Artistic Swimming Federation was held over two weekends, April 18–19 and 25–26, 2026, in two rounds. For the first time, the event was supported by the Smarame Scoring System, which brought a new level of precision and efficiency to the competition. The event ran smoothly and offered a dynamic and engaging experience for both athletes and spectators.

The Hungarian Cup 2025, held at the Duna Arena in Budapest between October 6–9, 2025, marked the final federation competition of the season. The four-day event brought together nearly 650 athletes competing across 40 events, making it one of the most significant artistic swimming competitions on the national calendar.
